my friend wants to wire the input and eq settings of his bass amp to a couple of house speakers

how hard will this be, and what will it entail?

Its hard to tell......If you can give some more descriptive information of what you want to do, we could help more.

It couldn't possibly be as hard as trying to figure out what you're on about.

So... You want to send the amp straight to the PA, instead of micing the speaker?

A DI box should do what you want.

He wants the sound to come out of both the amp speaker and the house PA. Which as far as I know is impossible without major surgery on the house PA. The club owner might not be too happy about it if you take apart his PA speakers and start wiring them to your friend's bass amp.

Didn't Kerry King use MGs at some point?

I think he just endorses them because he likes sacks of money

Most amps, when lined out don't play through their internal speakers while doing so, at least not mine.

o. sorry if i wasnt clear

they are speakers from a house not club speakers
almost fridge sized speakers

so because our mic plugs directly into his medium sized bass amp, through a a 1/4 inch cable, we want to somehow connect the external speakers to the bass amp, to get sound out of all 3 of them and make a real PA out of all of it

i have never messed with stuff like this before, so if i am leaving out a lot of infor i am sorry
