You'll get better help from the Musician forum. People here will just yell at you for posting in the wrong forum.

Take a guitar pick, try to keep as little as possible of the guitar pick coming out between your fingers, strike the search bar and then let your thumb brush against the string.

one of my favorite parts of this site is how people creatively include the search bar into their responses to threads that have been done over and over.

Before you even go to the right forum, use the search bar to see if a thread has been made on the topic before.

It has been. There are currently about 1.7 million threads on UG about pinch harmonics.

I think I've even done one before.

yeah, it's great whenever responses to commonly made threads have subliminal "use the searchbar" messages.

Just keep trying, go check out some instructional sites / videos.
And once you get the concept they are trying to teach you, keep trying it until you get it.
My suggestion would be try doing them in a drop tune (drop c / drop d)
Since the strings have less tension on them it will be easier.
And it would be a good idea to have the following:
-Humbuckers
-Lots of distortion
-A pick
