ask people if you sound good together.
you never know, to your ears you might rock and to theirs... you might not rock as much. :p lol, and if you sound good, try to hook you up a band. sounds like you already got the guitars...
"Its not rape if you like it."
"You have to go..." Reply: "Yess... [gaspy voice] I know..."

Can either of you guys sing? If so, write some music, you can definitely get some gigs with just two of you assuming you can put on a good show. You'll probably have to ditch the electric stuff for now (or at least the heavier stuff for the most part). Write some vocal material with two acoustic or maybe an acoustic and an electric and see how it goes. Play at a party for your friends and ask for their sincere opinions. If it works out try getting a few gigs and then if you can't find drummer they'll find you (and, of course, a bassist...and keyboards, violins, etc. etc etc.).

Continue to jam, if you play something and like it then go back and piece it together. In the end it should come out as a song. When you've got enough songs ask a local bar or venue if you can open one night and bam! Your on your first step to rockstardom.

going with that...can you record...if so put a jam session type thing in recordings and tell ppl to rate it...and then try to sing if UG likes it

Do different stuff like 12 bar blues and whatnot. Make up your own progressions and jam on those. Record your sessions and listen to them after, to see where you can improve. It really helps to listen to yourself from a different perspective.
