im trading my friend a bass for a guitar amp he knows nothing about it and neither do I im just using it as a backup. anyway its called a gibson maestro plus 50. i think it was made in the 70's. theres almost no information on net about it at all just a wiring diagram on the Gibson website. im interested to know whats going on inside.

The Plus 50 is a slave amp. It was used by plugging it in to the speaker outs of an amplifier methinks. It's basically used to bump fifty watts of power to an existing amplifier. I reckon it's very similar to a power amp.
