So yeah, which one is better?

Epiphone Les Paul Custom Alpine White
Made in China

Or this Epiphone Les Paul(I don't know which LP) (With EMG's and Grover tuners)
Made in Korea

And would those 2 beat a Mexican Strat?

I'd take the alpine white custom over that other one, which is probably a standard with EMGs in it
#4
top one is betetr looking but the bottom one will probably play better
china doesnt make very good instruments

anything made in korea is better than something chinese made.

mexican strat would beat those probably
Ted: [Whispering to Bill] Your stepmom is cute.
Bill: Shut up, Ted.
Ted: Remember when she was a senior and we were freshmen?
Bill: Shut up, Ted!

I like it when people say that. I was lucky enough to get a korean made Epi custom

Aye. Plus, the stock pickups in the first one are garbage.

A MIM strat is only better if you don't play almost exclusively metal/ hard rock.

It depends on what you play.

And chinese production isn't always terrible. Although some of the worst stuff ever is made in china, not everything made in china is bad.

The LP custom certainly doesn't suck. I'd choose that for classic rock and blues, and the EMG-loaded one for metal.

Thanks everyone for the fast reply!

I mainly play rock and metal

So should I go for the EMG one?

Seeing as you play metal go for the one with EMGs in

(the EMG pickups are worth well over £100 on their own)

For what is the third good for?
And is it considered better then the other 2?

Not really, it's just sort of a compromise between the bridge and neck pickups, tonally. Similar to having them run in series, but not quite the same.

So would any of these able to play live with?

Yeah, you'll be fine playing these live. Really though, there's no guitar that you "can't play live". There are amps that are too quiet to be played live, but the worst that a bad guitar will do for your live playing is kill your tone.

Alright, thanks So the only real difference between the White and Black one is the third pickup?

Im not too sure about the build quality, but i would say the " unknown" les paul. its made in korea, which should be better than china, and it also has EMGs, which i am a fan of.
