im really enthusiatic about learning how to plkay and i start like a week ago practicing for about an hour a day. what song do u recommend i begin with?
Something simple like

Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.

If you play the simplified version, there are only five chords and the the bridge.

One of the first songs I was taught.
A good acoustic song for a beginer is redemption songs from bobmarley first song i learned on acoustic... just like download the song off limewire or whatever and listen to the rhythm and get it down. Plus its got this little cool riff at the beginning
knockin on heavens door-bob dylan

maybe some punk stuff like ramones

Led Zeppelin-Tangerine

I came up with this kick ass riff on my ukelele when I was 12. Find out two years later, it was smoke on the water. Got my hopes and dreams killed..

you used the right form of "their!" i commend you sir!

did you just start learning to play a week ago? If thats the case then i would say just practice changing chords. Just switch G to C over and over
