the hendrix chord is always useful, and kinda funky, X7#9

E7#9, but movable. Root is on the A string, so moves the same as A system barre chords

Everyone loves that chord! I know I do! (also used by Clapton in Cream)

and don't forget to flat the 9 every now and then!

e|x
B|5
G|7
D|6
A|7
E|x

all of the major and minor triads are very important to know as well, in many positions...

MAJOR TRIADS
e|x--x--x-------6--7--5
B|5--7--6------6--8--7
G|6--7--5------7--7--7
D|7--7--7------x--x--x
A|x--x---x------x--x--x
E|x--x---x------x--x--x

make any of them minor simply by flatting the third. the bolded notes are the root notes. I hope I didn't make any mistakes

X7#9 FTW!

the blues aren't very complicated in chord structure, i think you've pretty much got all you need with dominant, minor, major, minor7, maj7 and a few substitutions and you're set. know the I, IV, V's and get started on perfecting some blues rhythm and you'll be well on your way
