being a PRS user, and because i own one of the SE series, i can say with confidence that they are great guitars, but i've never used a schecter, so i dont know the comparison. if it were me choosing, i'd probably go for the PRS, probably the one with the tremolo bar, and then if needed i'd swap out for a set of locking tuners.
