So we all know semi hollows have some major issues when it comes to feedback when playing in distortion. Is there anything I could do to decrease the amount of feedback? I've heard of solutions involving filling the guitar with foam..

Anything helps...thanks very much

BTW the guitar is an epiphone dot deluxe. My 339 doesn't have this problem...maybe its the bigger body the dot has? I don't know
Play cleans!

seriously though, making the body "more solid" by filling it is probably your best bet (after simply buying a longer cable and moving further from the amp) you could also block the f-holes so that it doesn't resonate as much.
Get farther away from the amp. That's all I need to do for my Artcore.
Then again, I use feedback melodically and a semi-hollowbody is perfect for that.
