Who would you consider to have the greatest stage presence? Jus
I would personally have to pick Jimmy Page. Just watch the Song Remains the Same. He isn't overly flashy like Steve Vai or Yngwie Malmsteem.

John Frusciante, absolutely John Frusciante, he's either running around, laying on the ground humping his guitar, or rocking out so hard it borders on epileptic, I saw him live and he looked like he was always gonna fall over

Angus Young

Definitely Angus Young. I'm not a big fan of AC/DC, but when it comes to stage presence, NO ONE tops him imo.

EDIT: Shoot...already beat me to it lol

Jimmy Page?

Not even close. I've never seen a video of him doing anything all that special, other than his little bow trick.

Hendrix had ten times the stage presence of Page.

And even then, I've seen some guitarists in small bands with a hundred times the energy of Hendrix.

Sum 41 comes to mind. And if anyone's ever heard of Fair to Midland, all of those guys are fawking crazy.

(I'm going to Hell...)
As far as modern guitarists go, I'd say Matt Bellamy.

it's true. most of the bands UG hates have ten times the stage presence of those that they love.

You don't have to jump around like a spaz (Angus) in order to have stage presence. His point was he doesn't do anything to flashy but he still draws your eye because of his awesomeness.

Bruce and 'Arry own the stage presence in that band.

Frusciante - The amount of energy he puts into his music and his performances is pretty unreal. Constantly going nuts.

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez - The first time I saw him I thought he was having a constant seizure.

Flea - Name says it all really. Ridiculous dance moves.

Joe Perry -

+ Angus Young of course.

I can't believe only one person before has said Vai.

Steve Vai has an a amazing stage presence, from his fan thing (It's supposed to look overly flash, that's why it's so cool), all the funny faces he makes, the trick he does with his tongue to make harmonics (I know it's really his sustainer, but it just looks so damn cool), that and all the jokes he makes in between songs.

Jimmy Page has no stage presence, he just stands there.
