Hey guys, I've been trying to play more fast guitat latly, but I'm stuck on slow picking and I'm not able to pull off any good breakdowns. Any advice on how to speed up my picking? or excercises anyone knows?

This thread is really unnecessary. All you need to do is slowly practice with a metronome and generally build up speed. The key to success is to practice and you WILL get faster with time if you practice enough.

what i did back in the day was try to learn a song that was slightly too fast for me to play. that forced my brain and body into really HAVING to learn how to do it, which made it take much less effort. i liked this much more than just speeding up a metronome every couple days, because I was learning something at the same time.
