if you want to pronounce it like it originally should, it's A-lek-si Lai-ho
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

I have come home to Arkham.

You mispelled his name in the title of this thread. Is that why you couldnt say it?

Why do so many people say it Lay-ho (lay as in lazy or late)? If it's not an English name why not just ask for its proper pronunciation? Like Kepulix said, it's Lie-ho (lie, just like light or lion or... lie).

Kepulix said Lai-ho, not Lie-ho.

And I'm pretty sure he's right.

And you're obviously here because you fancy Phill.

We both mean the same sound. You don't have to nitpick...

I pronounce it more between the Lai sound and Lie.

I'm not Finnish though...

You are correct, the vowel sound is partway between Lai and Lie but the closest I could get in English is Lie-hoh, because Lai would be pronounced Lay-hoh

There's a sound clip of me saying his name correctly:
http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/LeperAffinity/music/all/play231638

However, even Alexi anglesizes it to Alex-e Lie-ho on occasion... In fact even the spelling is anglesized as it should be Aleksi.
