Is it bad to get a loud amp as in 30+ amps (ss) if im not going to turn it up all the way. I hear that amps sound best cranked so if im not going to turn it up loud, should i get a quiter one and crank that?

Also i wanted to know if the Vox AD15VT was 15 watts on a SS scale or a Tube Scale

For Solid State amps, the opposite is true, because when you push the speakers with a solid state amp, it clips harsher, giving it a tinny, or muddy tone depending on the amp.

Correction: SS amps don't sound good cranked. Tube amps do.
Vox valvetronixes are in the SS scale. As they're not tube amps.

Watts are watts no matter what, tube amps only SOUND louder.
