I read somewhere they used 7 strings but it would NOT be "nu-metal".

It'll be interesting to see how it comes out.

what?

just because they use 7 strings doesn't make a band nu-metal.

I never said it did. That's just what Doc Coyle stated on their home page.

Just read a comment from the band that the new record will have more of a progressive influence from Tool, Gojira, and Opeth just to name a few.

Even more interesting...

Can't wait for the new stuff, last album had an amazing mix, guitar tone.

Listen to some of the new stuff. They have at least three new songs. The seven strings really thicken the sh*t out of their sound.

Sorry for the bump. It's my first time listening to the album.
Pretty ****in' brutal (Drop A), it's almost like the way you described it too.

It is, i just hate listening to stuff from there. But if it comes down to it i guess i have no choice. It's just weird that nobody has ripped it from their page and made a torrent out of it yet. Or are God Forbid really that unknown?
