my brother got grind your mind (a grindcore compilation) and for some odd reason an Anaal Nathrakh song was on it. Can someone explain how they're even remotely grindcore?

It didn't seem possible, but apparently Messiah can spam even more now.

Anaal Nathrakh have a lot of grindcore influences and at times DO sound like grindcore. Too say other wise is ridiculous.

I dont really consider them Black Metal like most people do..

Why would you call them Black Metal? Whats there that gives them that tag? I see minimal Black Metal musicianship on all their albums, so I'm curious.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.

They are definitely an eclectic band. Awesome as well.

They have been labeled lots of things and im not really suprised at grind, grind has a few things in common with some BM, DM, Industrial, etc. so its not really a suprise. I would call them industrial myself but it doesnt matter, theyre awesome.

I don't know, I would maybe chuck them in with Strapping Young Lad's "Infinity Metal".
