Hey guys I am looking for a realkly good quality ampliefier. I looked into a line 6 spider III 120 or 150. I dont know which one i should get. Whats the difference? 120-watts is still good. What one should I get and what will be the amp that I stay with for a long time. I was told these are gig amps as well. Heres the links thanks guys. Mt musical style is metal. I also have an XMM Metal mater pedal that cna fit right?

They're not good quality, they don't sound that good, they're not gigging amps.

How much money do you have?

actually, try turning it up
and then see whether or not you want to sound like a preprogrammed buzzsaw

well in all honesty if you're playing at really low volumes (like 1) its fine, but since you specified such high wattages and 'gig amps' and an amp you'd want to stay with,

unfortunately no.

if you still think they have good sound i suggest you try out some real tube amps. then you can make a valid comparison.

randall that was suggested is nice. also look into some of the fender tube amps, blues jr is excellent and actually under ur budget. hot rods are excellent amps as well, and being tube amps they get loud, and that just makes them sound better. in comparison to line 6.....

120w looks nice

Not, amps must be judged on just about anything other than power first; tone is the number one requirement of just about any amp and line6 spiders suck in terms of tone.

remember that the wattage will make it louder and um

the louder you make those amps go

the more hideous they will sound.

go for the randall. its louder than you'll probably ever need it to be. not to mentions SOUNDS A LOT BETTER THAN THAT spider

spiders are maybe fun for the first day or two. because of all the random settings. but once you start caring about how they actually sound, things completely change.
