Ok, my guitar has 2 pickups and each pickup has a volume knob. Both have a master tone knob. I want to mod it so that the tone control only affects the bridge pickup. I want to do this because the JB is very trebly.

I love the treble, but it gets harsh and too ear piercing. So, what would happen if I get a Vox AC15? I have a Cube 15, and I can't even get past three on the volume knob.

DON'T GET A MARSHALL MG OR A LINE 6 SPIDER.

What does that do?

EDIT:And where can I get a 250k pot?

and I want my neck pickup to be a bit brighter. Just a bit, to get the tone of the bridge and neck pickup closer to each other.

any parts website, local shops, even radio shack has them.

it smooths out the top end. and it takes about 2 minutes to do.

I would try www.mouser.com. They are one of the largest part suppliers in the world.

The hotbar should be floating parallel to the principle axis at this point. Next, take a hammer, and beat yourself in the face while crying JIHAD. problem fixed.

Much easier to change the tone pot wiring. Its probably connected to the output change it so it runs off the bridge vol pot.
