Hi
I have been asked to play this for a show:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oohMgS7Du-w&feature=related

I found these chords on another forum:
E

Well I was wandering along by the banks of the river
When seven fat cows came up out of the Nile, uh-huh
And right behind these fine healthy animals came
Seven other cows, skinny and vile, uh-huh
A
Well the thin cows ate the fat cows which I
Thought would do them good, uh-huh
E
But it didn't make them fatter like such
A monster supper should

A
Well the thin cows were as thin
Bb B
As they had ever, ever, ever been
E
Well this dream has got me baffled
G A E
Hey, Joseph, won't you tell me what it means?

Now I have no hope of making the B or Bb. No hope at all. So I have been asked to play a “bassline”. I play an electric guitar but I was thinking of playing along with powerchords instead which will maybe give a bassline effect?? They want a rock guitar feel- more rock than that version in the video.

So the question is- any suggestions for a strumming pattern with powerchords to give the rhythm. Or a way to play a simple bassline on an electric guitar that would give the rhythm?

Thanks

just look through some elvis tabs for the baselines and you should be able to pull something out

The Elvis tabs idea is a good one- don't know much Elvis though so not sure what song is a good one? Maybe 'All shook up'??

It is VERY weird. But then the whole show is a bit off base like that.
