My friend has a seventies model Dorado 12 string and the tailpiece has bent under the string tension. Does anyone know where I can find this part ?

Just about any tailpiece will do, just measure everything first. Could you show us a picture of what it looks like at the bottom? Does it connect to the endpin, or just sit screwed in near the top? How many screws?

Edit: this might work, so long as it fits the measurments:

Or, you could always just fit a new piece of metal to it. Which part has bent?
Sincerely, Chad.

Obviously, you just have to make sure it's a 12-string tailpiece.

A little hard to come by, which is why I recommend fixing it yourself.
Sincerely, Chad.

Thanks for the links, I'll show these to him and see what he thinks. I don't believe there will be much fixing to do on this thing, its so bent that you can't get the strings in the little grooves they go in. Its completely trashed, if you did straighten it it would just bend right back.
