what one do you is better for metal/hard rock?

EMG-81/85 or Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2N/ JB TB4

I use a JB/'59 set and it does anything I need, from the Chili Peppers to Dethklok. Sweet spot is somewhere between Sweet Child O'Mine and Holy Wars, though.

EMG, i got the 81-85 fitted 2 days ago, much better than SD for that tone, tho SD's are quite nice

I can vouch for the 81 being brilliant for any rock/metal but I've never used the 85. Try the 60 i the neck if you want some versatlity.

i use both EMG's which came stock with PA2 on my KKV and SD's came stock on the RR3. They both sounds nice under heavy gain and distortion.

Better than hooked on crack, I suppose. I'd rather know my kids are safe at home beating their meat than out in the world robbing old women for their crack fix.
