I have a Squier affinity series fat strat (2 SC's and a bridge humbucker), and the pickup switch has 5 settings (I don't know what any of them actually do...).
When I put it on the setting closest to the neck (if I stand my guitar up it points up and left) the high e is about half the volume of the rest of the strings. This only happens when the pickup switch is in that position, and it only affects the high e string.

Is there something wrong with the pickup / is there even anything wrong at all? Like I said, I have no clue what any of the pickup switch positions do, so I can't tell if this is a problem or not.

EDIT: How do I raise the pole piece under the high e?
