at the very beginning of the song you can hear a voice of a man and a woman, the woman says "are you feeling ok?" but what is the guy saying? (before the song starts)

Lol, my bad.

Anyway, if you meant Comfortably Numb, I never really noticed a conversation in the beginning of the song.
I know exactly what I think I'm doing.

He probably has the song cut from the movie "The Wall".

The song previous to it ends with "Is there anybody out there?" and then it almost immediately goes into the first verse once Comfortably Numb starts. There is no talking at the beginning of the song.

End the thread without answering him?

Threadstarter, look up the movie script, do a search for any words you cna make out.
I know what scene it is in the movie, they're exaimining a kid who is really blazed. Search for the words confortably numb because the song plays then in the movie.

It's much more pronounced in the Echoes version of the song. I know what the TS is talking about but i can't really make it out, it just sounds like some british nonsense

what's the point in being "philiosophical"?

Interesting question...

There is a bunch of things being said at the end of the previous song "Is There Anybody Out There?", it has a man yelling "Time to go", the operator of a phone saying "It's a man answering", another man yelling "Go on, do it again!", and then they all start to go together and come to an abrupt end with Roger saying Is There Anybody Out There. Then Comfortably Numb starts. In the movie, there is no dialogue before this song really, just the hotel manager busting into the room and saying "****". If you are listening to the version from The Wall, then there is no dialogue at the beginning of the song, but the Echoes: Greatest Hits version does start with all the beforementioned quotes.

i don't remember, but it's not from the movie (although the same dialog may have been used) since the movie was made a couple years after the album.

^ Or One of My Turns, probably. They say "Are you feeling okay" in that.

In that case, it's supposed to be a groupie that Pink brought back to his apartment. He's watching some war movie.
