Anyone know what would be a good choice for a delay pedal used primarily for reggae? Nothing too expensive, if you please..

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I know jack all about pedals

any single delay pedal will work fine. Try one of the Boss delays or even just a cheap Behringer one (those plasticy ones that look like they would break if you stood on them too hard)

boss digital delay

...and delay pedals aren't really genre biased

Sorry, forgot to mention: Analog > Digital. I'm running a tube amp and don't really want to piss about with digital pedals.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll check 'em out if I get the chance

TC Electronic Nova Delay
Ibanez AD-9
Maxon AD-9
EHX Deluxe Memory Man
EHX #1 Echo

Those are all in the $300 range, #1 Echo being the cheapest ($99).

Don't write off digital pedals, man. The one I have (Danelectro PB&J) is, to the best of my knowledge, entirely digital, yet sounds very much analog. It's got some sort of treble cut on it, so a little high end is cut off on each repeat.....comes across much better than the coldness a digital delay can create.

Basically, any digital with that sort of treble cut will probably work just as well as an analog delay.
Do YOU know who Les Paul is?

Look for something with true bypass. That way you wont have the pedal suck away your tone from your amp.
