I was wondering how I could make seamless/pattern pictures in photoshop (or any other programs). I searched in Google but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Here are some examples of things I would like to create.

Basically, patterns that have pictures that overlap each other and are seamless..

Please help!

you just have to make it so that along the edges of the canvas the designs match up

It's an option for the "Which one of E Daws parents are uglier?" thread.

Use the magic wand to crop to the size of the actual thing, not the background.
Then copy and paste.

I want to make clothing patterns.. If any of you have seen Volcom clothing you know what I mean. They put their logos overlapping each other and it's a pattern all over the shirt. I would like to create patterns like that in photoshop, but the problem is I don't know how. And cropping the pics to match up on all 4 sides is quite complicated and time consuming.

EDIT: Here are some examples of something I'd like to create.

As you can see, the pictures have intricate designs...and if you tile them, they're seamless patterns and they don't look distorted.

How could I make something like that?
