Hey im lookign for a new guitar, mainly for drop c and c sharp tunings.
m looking for a killswitch engage/avenged sevenfold type tone.

i have up to $1200AUS or US$1100 and could stretch it a bit.
It has to have 24 frets, hardtail or string thru body

and preferably only superstrat or rhodes body.

il be running it through a H&K trilogy, so i was looking at changing pups to a blackout set, as SD JB's sound way too trebly and harsh through it, and i dont really want another EMG 81 or 85 and ive heard good things about the blackouts.

Thanks.

i think you could get a high-end ESP with that much. Or even an Ibanez Prestige, tho most have FRs.

The 2008 Schecter Blackjack ATX has Blackouts as standard equips. Well under $1100USD.

They have both a string through body and a FR version.
