So my friend got a parkwood acoustic about 2 months ago. He takes care of it like a mother, and always humidifies it, and is very careful of it. However, last week a crack developed on both the top wood and the back wood. So apparently he took it to GC (where he bought it) and they said that if he fixed it, then he could trade it in. Which is freakin worthless, because GC gives horrible prices, AND he has to fix it. Also, he said they had 2 of the exact same guitars with similar cracks. He also had a GC warranty on it, and after looking on the parkwood site last night, apparently they have a lifetime warranty.
so i ask you guys, what should he do?
This is the guitar, btw, http://www.guitarcenter.com/Parkwood-PW370M-GC-Cutaway-Acoustic-Electric-Guitar-103407573-i1171391.gc
