Yo guys. To cut to the chase I fancy getting these tubes. Only thing is as you can see they are on ebay and I have heard from some people that buying tubes from ebay isn't a good idea. So do you reckon it's fine? I mean they have plenty of feedback so i'm guessing they are, just wanna get a few of more opinions.

Well that seller has 10000 feedback, so I'd say you'd be safe.

i dunno, besides it having the typical risk of buying off ebay, shipping seems to be kinda high too. i forgot who distributes tubes in the UK, but i'm sure someone will know.

I wouldn't buy tubes from ebay, and I'm one of the worlds strongest believes in ebay and CL. Besides, new ones from a reputable online dealer are not much more...http://www.tubedepot.com/mu-el34.html

Sorry incase you don't know where Wales is (which you don't seem to) it is the UK, and tubedepot don't ship to the UK. Neither do musicians friend who i also checked out.

That's the thing. I can't find them locally. Not in any local music shops or even on the net. That's pretty much the reason I'm probably gonna get them from there. I mean either way I'm probably gonna have them shipped from the US so why not an ebay store with over 10k positive feedback eh

If there's no other way, then go for it.

You can tubes a LOT cheaper here:

Thomann.de

It lists prices in euros, and then GBP in smaller text right ender the euro price.
Ships to uk (It's the UK version of the site, so obviously it would)
EDIT: Not exactly the same tubes you want. It has 6l6 versions. Ignore my recommendations.

the only problem id imagine anyone would have with buying valves from ebay (other than getting ripped) is if they are not matched, but they say its a matched quad so it should be fine
