Therefore your opinion is void.

I used to agree with you until I found one in the color I like. Thing is a monster, can do any genre and singles are so much more sweet sounding that humbuckers. I can't stand the bright colored ones and sunbursts, everyone makes them in those colors. Off-white with black hardware FTW!

Contrary to popular belief, there is such thing as a decent squier, and there is such thing as a decent BC rich.

BC rich bronze series is the series that sucks. Squier its the bullets that suck. Affinity series are good for modding, the standard series seems pretty good, my standard tele is lovely. the vintage modified and stuff are actually pretty good, i think they are better than the more recent MIM fenders... i played an '07 fender standard strat.. blech, it was horrible compared to my '02..

the worst guitars are those sweatshop fakes you get off sites like that bazaarofchina place that spammed over here a while ago.

I have one of those too. I'm gonna switch out the electronics and pickups asap because they are pretty bad, apart from that, its also a very nice guitar.

I've also played a 1980s MIJ squier jazz bass that honestly compared to my rickenbacker 4001 it was a shock that has given me the urge to buy a squier jazz bass for quite some time...

That was a peak time for Japs. As good as americans.

Not so much for fender anymore, Tokai, Edwards yes.

I bought an Epiphone SG Special beginner's player pack for a friend's son a couple years ago.

Both the guitar and the practice amp were so crappy and set up so bad that they were really a deterrent to learning music. So much had to be done just to make the guitar playable.

+623178974392874xinifinty to everything just said.

What makes a bad guitar to me is the feel. If something just feels like a baseball bat glued to a box of kleenex its my cue to put it back down... Agathis isnt such a bad body wood, with some decent pups, you have an OK sounding guitar providing you have a half decent amp. Most of the guitars i can say ive hated are crappy low end starter pack strat copies...

Also this...

Yeah I can't stand the look of half of the B.C. Rich guitars, they look stupid as hell. The Mockingbird is the only decent shape and only one I'd ever consider using, besides their superstrat body, whatever that one is.

It isn't even a BC Rich, Paul Stanley Silvertone Apocolypse.

It's £200 because paul stanley jizzed on it. Like paul stanley is anything to brag about. UNless you like to paint your face, have lots of body hair and wear leotards.

I really really like the mockingbird... Well the £2k ones in natural finishes. I wouldnt say no too. Only thing is theyre hugeeee.
#37
Bananas are the worst.

I picked one up at the local store, it wasn't even a music store, it was, like, Food Lion, because I liked the finish (greenish yellow), and I thought, "Hey, I could just throw in a Seymour Duncan JB and it might sound okay."

Anyway, the setup was horrible. It didn't even come with strings! So I went to the local music store and got some D'Addarios because that's what I use on my other guitars, so I went home and put those on. It took like 4 hours to get up to tune because the tuner was some crappy brown thing on the end that was super-hard to turn.

So after I took care of that, I plugged it into my amp. Not only did I get shocked, but I got, like, banana residue on my cable. And it didn't even make a sound. And I swore then and there I would never buy a guitar from the produce section again.

Moral of the story: no matter how bad your guitar is, there's something worse, and also, the worst guitar is a non-guitar.
