At the moment I play an Ibanez S Prestige guitar, and it's perhaps the best guitar I've ever laid my hands on, however I'm wanting another guitar in a similar vein, although with a bit of a thicker body, neck-thru and no trem unit, preferably string through, with a thin, either satin or unfinished neck.

I'm wanting to spend roughly £500 and I've been looking at stuff like Schecter's but the neck is just way too thick for my liking.

Any suggestions?

I doubt you'll get a neck-thru for that price, but I'd go for LTD or Jackson.
