That one guy said Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle. No learn that one later, do learn it though, but the reason I say later is because you want to start off with easy less complicated sweeps, then you learn the John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen-like Sweeps that are crazy as hell.

Check out The Human Abstract, they have tons of sweeping ( Vela Together we await for the storm, this song is awesome XD took me a week to get it perfect)
Bleeding Mascara by Atreyu ( thats how i learned sweep)
Heretics and Killers - Protest the Hero ( just the intro)
The new protest the hero album, Fortress, has TONS of sweeping.
Between the Buried and me has sweeps aswell but they might be too hard.

I remember years back trying to learn that song and I didn't know the mechanics of sweeping. I was all like "WHYS IT SOUND LIKE SHI†!"

But yeah, hmmm...

Riders - Outworld.

I'm having fun with that one right now.

lol ya , I didnt know what the hell sweeping was, i was just given a tab from my band and was told to play it. Then i discovered a beautiful thing called The Human Abstract, and thats when I learned about it and what it is and i welcomed it with open arms, now i use sweeps the most out of any other technique i know.

Sweep picking IS super shredding speed, that's the only reason it exists. Sweeping slowly is pretty much just simple arpeggiating.

The intro to Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria has a little bit of it I believe.. -shrugs- I don't know.

I don't know if that is actually classified as sweeping. I think it's called a rake or something.
