Well, my dad has expressed desire for the Nintendo Wii. Its 250$. Is it worth it? He tends to waste money at odd times so if its not worth it tell me. Thanks Yo.

Tell him only after he has done his chores.
Dear God, do you actually answer prayers?

Yes, but only in a way indistinguishable from random luck or the result of your own efforts.

It is worth it, it's good entertainment for anyone. Encourage him.

I love my Wii. It really compliments my PC with it's quirkyness/weirdness.
I use my PC for traditional stuff like FPS and RTS and my Wii for those quirky games or for party stuff.

When people talk about the wii as a novelty all I hear is "BAAAWWW MY CONSOLE OF PREFERANCE IS BEING CONTINUOUSLY OUTSOLD"

If you enjoy the games it offers, it's worth it. And its games are not totally limited to novelty "OMFG WAGGLE THE CONTROLAR" games like some poeple try to make it seem.

let me get this straight...your dad wants to buy a wii. you dont have to pay for it. and you will get to play it whenever you want.

and youre asking us if this sounds like a good idea?

Make sure you get Mario Galaxy, it seriously is an amazing game. You should also get Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metriod Prime Corruption, Zelda:TP, and a bunch of others.

Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid for single player. You'll have to wait till Super Smash Brothers Brawl is released before you can bash peoples skulls in for good fun.
