I got my new Laney VC30 212 recently and i love playing but how do you turn them on and off, what i do is this.
  • I turn standbye on for 30 seconds
  • Then i turn power on (so now both are on)
  • I enjoy and play
  • Then i turn Power off
  • I wait for around 30 seconds and then put standbye off

So is there anything else i should do/ or change?
Thanks

Yea you are doing it all backwards

Power first
Keep it in standby for at least 30 seconds or more to allow the tube to warm up
Play
Standby on and then power off
Don't move the amp for a little bit after because warm tubes are damaged more easily

I'd usually let it warm up for about a minute if I were you. Besides whats an extra 30 seconds gona hurt.

Guitars:
-Jackson DXMG (SH-2N, SH-6)
-Schecter Hellraiser C1 (18v)
-Ibanez XPT707FX (Blackouts)
-Ibanez BTB 400 Bass

Power first? To do mean like plug it in, or turn it on first? Cause I thought you put it on stand by, then turned it on.
