has anyone ever heard of a "Dixon" wah pedal??... so far all my search tells me Dixon is a drum company...

a friend of mine is willing to practically give it to me as a gift... i know its dirt cheap... but its better than not having a wah...

thnx for the help

In the UK, Dixons is a chain of electrical stores :S

If its really ridiculously cheap then you don't have much to lose other than a small amount of money!

if the guy is willing to part with it for a tiny sum of money, then id pick it up. worst comes to worst you can always just use the enclosure and build another wah inside it. even if it doesnt sound great, it may have a board that is similar to a vox or dunlop (which wouldnt suprise me). in which case you can mod it using some of the stuff listed in the wah modding thread. id grab it, and even if it sucks you can find something to do with it (like stick another pedal in there and use the rocker pedal to control something)

Or it could be some rare pedal that you can resell for loads o money...

The hotbar should be floating parallel to the principle axis at this point. Next, take a hammer, and beat yourself in the face while crying JIHAD. problem fixed.

With a quick search, I found that picture.

The name it was under was a Dixon CB Wah-Wah pedal.

I can only find one or two instance of it on Google, and each of them have been in another language.

My advice: get it and try it out, it can't hurt and it just may sound good.
