Are there local bands around your area that you think should be signed?
Apart from your own bands.
There are about four i can think of around the Shreveport area.
Name them.

Hell no. All the bands around here sound the same. It's all unoriginal, screaming, talentless, nonsense.
"Ultimate"-Guitar is the worst website on the internet. Polluted with unintelligent mongoloids.

I totally live in Louisiana too.
And every band here is a ****ty grindcore band.

EDIT: Except for a band called Imbroglio.
They're pretty good

yeah, my friends band should have a deal. they probably will within the next few years. just need a bit more exposure. there used to be a great local band around here that definitly deserved a deal, but they broke up. shame.

there were three in my area. one was called freddy inferno, another Free Money, and the last one was Baba G'nush. freddy inferno was like an old school chili peppers rap/rock group. Free money was very indie, cant think of any similar bands though. and Baba G was a funk rock group. they all broke up though

None around me right now, but to be fair it's probably due to me not being a fan of the music genre most of the bands around here play..

I can kinda agree with that. There's lots of talented, tight, semi-original screamo/metalcore bands around here that probably would sell to their demographic pretty well. I'm not a huge fan though.

They're not really local, but there's a band from New Jersey (I live in eastern Pennsylvania) called The Thief that are really good.
I like Fall Out Boy.
That is all.

At the TOC show last night there was an oriental band that had some potential. Screamo, but I'd love to see what they came up with if they got signed and had a studio to work in.

Before or after they stole stuff from convenience stores? I knew a guy who grew up with them, said they pulled shi† like that.
