I like alot of delay in my sounds, especially for slow alternatives.
I tried the BOSS DD-6 and I didn't really like it because whenever I set my delay (650 ms for example) I have to re-set it when I turn it off.

I wanted a delay pedal with more settings and channels so you can just stomp on it and get your delay.

So I've found two delay pedals that are almost the same price,
The BOSS DD-20 Giga Delay and the Line 6 DL4

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-DL4-Delay-Guitar-Pedal?sku=150380

I've been wondering, which delay pedal is better?
I don't need ALOT of delay, because the most I'll ever use is probably less than 800 ms.
But I just like more settings or channels so you can have more than 1 kind of delay.
Which one do you guys prefer?

I have always been a huge fan of Boss. I don't have any experience with either of these pedals but bassed off past experience I would go Boss.

P.S. Are you gonna sell you DD-6? If so for how much.

I'm not much of a fan of Boss because I always thought they overpriced it just because it was branded by Boss.
I only bought their pedals from eBay or something,

But I pretty much cut it down to these beautiful pedals.
I've tried the DD-20 at guitarcenter,
loved it right away,
but I didn't try the L6 DL4,
so I'm asking if anyone thinks the L6 is better.

In my opinion, it seems as if the L6 pedal is easier to use
since it has 4 buttons while the boss only has 2.

And I tried these pedals at guitar center, I never owned them.

I'm not a fan of Boss pedals as well, but the DD-20 won me over and I got it and I love it.

judging by the majority of the artists and bands i like, i strongly reccomend going with the l6

The DD20 will be easier to use in a gig and won't break down on you. I've heard lots of DL4 horror stories.

Why ask. The DL4 is awsome, the echo on my spider head was just a built in thing, but it beats a load of echo pedals iv herd recently. Cus its a digital affair it'll be the same sort of thing in the DL4. Its an industry standard in digital delay the DL4.

Neither are very amazing ( i personally prefer Electroharmonix Memory men to both) but for the money the line 6 is better. Why buy the dd-6 when you could pay a little more for say a dd-20? not worth it. line 6 is cheaper with more functions, but if i were you i would save up for a stereo memory man with hazarai

Ridiculous amount of unsubstantiated Boss fanboyism in here...

The DL4 is an amazing delay. It > DD20.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.
