Throw me into the deep end
I can't swim
Let's go skydiving
I'm afraid of heights
We'll dive into the ocean
I'll surely drown
Take me to the middle of nowhere
Blindfold me, don't give me no map
And I'll try to find my way back to my hometown

Well here it goes again, that fear element
Take it right out of my life my friend
This is my last song
It won't be soon before long
Until it's never heard of again

I'm afraid of being afraid
Nothing to fear but fear
And who I was when I was still here
Whoever that was I know he can't compare
To the person I'll be when I get there

Well here it goes again, that fear element
Take it right out of my life my friend
This is my last song
It won't be soon before long
Until it's never heard of again

I wish that I could look the man in the mirror in the eyes
And tell him that I hate his guts
I wish that I could tell you how I feel
Without being so afraid and accepting of your love
But life doesn't turn out that way all the time

Well here it goes again, that fear element
Take it right out of my life my friend
This is my last song
It won't be soon before long
Until it's never heard of again

Its a good poem....props there, but if you want a song its gotta match the guitar part and i don think it will...not well it least. If thats your goal you have the same problem everyone else i know has and thats that they don't write the guitar first. it almost always sounds better when you go that route or it least a good lyrical melody which i cant think of one...but still its good.

Actually i did write the music first, as with all of my songs. It has a very R.E.M. sorta feel to it.

"no" felt more informal, which is what i was trying for.
