Im most likely going to get an HSS MIM Strat and i was wondering what color you guys think i should get. I like the white and the blue but def not the black because its so frickin plain. Also, which fretboard with whichever color you choose

I have a white one with rosewood, needless to say that would be my choice.

Just curious, why are you asking what color to get?

because he wants it to look nice?

i don't know if you can get one MIM, but the one kristofer dahl has is gorgeous, the red burst (i think).

My favourites are:

1) White with Mint Green pickguard (that kinda old, aged pickguard)
2) Surf Green with white pickguard
3) Fiesta Red (NOT Candy Apple Red)

Sunburst or White with maple fretboard. I love the maple fretboards. BTW, good choice. HSS Strats are very versatile, cool guitars.

That's sienna burst I believe. I've seen squires with it, but not any MIM's yet. Honestly, I think for strats it depends on the fretboard type. There's just some that look best with maple, and others with rosewood. Black is pretty plain, but with a mint green pickguard and maple neck, it looks pretty sweet.

You might want to look into a used MIJ before a MIM though.

They don't make MIMs in Seafoam green, or everyone would recommend that. His color choices are, unless I'm mistaken, White, Wine red, blue, bright red, sunburst, and black.
