I'd go with the 1960A, Because of the Genre's of music I play.
So until you can tell us what YOU play, we can't help you fully.

1960A

Better cab, better built, better speakers and so on. Will fit your style better too.

Hmm Marshall is really more vintage voiced although the 1960A is a really good cab.

Yeah, Get the 1960A and slap some casters on the bottom of it and your good to go.
#7
yeah i thinking of getting the 1960A but it would take me longer to get it because i need to get it cleared by the Academy's Dean and Headmaster though because there's a limit on amp wattage which was lowered to 300w.

^Wattage on the cab wont matter. Its really all in the head, the cab is just designed to take the wattage of the head so to speak without blowing speakers. You should be fine and 300 watts??? Thats crazy 50 tube watts is too loud to crank. 300 SS watts would be pretty damn loud but 300 tube...you could blow up a building with that. I'm thinking its put more in place for bass players right???

yeah that's the problem with my school they don't allow cabs that are over 300w now but they used to six months ago when i got my 600w krankenstein.

i've been cited too much now just lost all my weekends cleaning the gum of tables, and i don't want to waste a perfect weekend playing guitar by cleaning up all day.

sure, more you like the amp it reminds of my brother who died in iraq.

but back on topic the new cab is only going to be used as a gig only amp so i could get through the loop hole in the new rule.
