Here we go just lyrics for my song dark side of the truth
let me no what u guys think

Should I expose my secrets?
Should I do what is wrong?
I can say I told them so
Showing my darkness within

Now I take a step out side
To realize that my world is turning grey
What has become of me?
A mystery
Of the darkness felt in space

Searching for the truth
Only you should no
What is it I’ve done wrong?
What is it I’ve become?
Dark side of the truth
Dark side of me two
How could I live this way?
How could you say you’ll stay?

Now
You see
It’s me
Soul seeking hypocrite
Fear
Realize
Demise
You finally have succumbed

Searching for the truth
Only you should no
What is it I’ve done wrong?
What is it I’ve become?
Dark side of the truth
Dark side of me two
How could I live this way?
How could you say you’ll stay?
Now your end is here
You should have no fear
Paralyzed you lie
Poisoned for all time

There are words that a whole lot of bands over use, called cliches. You have a lot of them here, such as dark side, dark, you'll stay, hypocrite, end is near, and more. What you need to be trying to accomplish is, first of all, expressing YOU. And using the same words in your lyrics that everyone else uses is never going to do that.

So scrap this song, take whatever it is you were trying to express, and express it in your OWN way. Look up different words on thesaurus.com and try to find ones that perfectly embody the meaning you want but also have an emotional connection with what you're expressing. Some bands just use big words and try to pack in the most possible meaning that way, but they lose the emotional effect of using words that say more than their definition. Know what I mean?
We're only strays.

I agree with Martyr's Prayer, (good to have him back, lol) but yeah you have to express your self.

but if you wanted this to work you need to put different words here and there.
