Whatever you get, Be sure its tubes...Solid State is garbage...

Forget both of those and get a Peavey Classic 30. Ha, I had to do it.

What kind of music do you play? Cause for $650 you can do a lot better than those two amps.

If you're going for a Randall Solid State at least go for the G3!

I'd just shy away from those two in general. You'll never need that much wattage and you could get better for what they are. Both the Randall RX series and the larger Spider series, to me, are just glorified practice amps.

I can see some merit in getting the Spider though. If you ever need a crapload of gain and mucky bass that you'll never need.

Yeah pretty much anybody who has an ear for tone thinks those amps are nothing more than an expensive practice amp.

Lol. That guy's tone was aweful. The clean channel is passable on a good day but the rest sounds like sandpaper.

I kinda feel sorry for him.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable

Not all transistor amps are crappy mind you.
