So basically, I posted this in the Pit already but the only reply is from me trying to bump the thread... so I thought I'd try it here... It may well die again
Anyone know any UK shops (chain stores etc) that might be able to sell me some clear Mylar sheets so I can fit a golpeador (flamenco tap/scratch plate) to my guitar?
It can be used for laminating so maybe office supply stores? It can also be used in electronics (insulation I think), so I'm going to try B&Q and Maplins tomorrow, but does anyone have any other ideas?
Also, if anyone has any tips for other materials to make a scratchplate from, I'd be interested to hear them.

But any office supplies place should have what your looking for since you said its also used for laminating.

I didn't, but it turns out they *do* have Staples in the UK, I've just never heard of it before. And there's one near me, so I'll have a look, thanks...
