anyone know how much it costs to replace a broken tone knob? I was taking some tape off my guitar (long story) and the tone knob literally snapped off. It isn't working now although it LOOKS ok. The sound of the guitar passes although it isnt what it was before. I'm working on a Dean Mlx (the cheap one). Should i bother getting the knob fixed or just try and upgrade? money's tight although i really want something with a nice tremolo system.

To fix the knob or to trash it, im taking votes

a tone knob is less than 10 bucks. a soldering iron about another 10.
