You'll know.
Trust me.
It'll just play nicer than anything you've ever played.

When you find it, it's obvious.
It's hard to explain.

But you'll know.

You just have to play different ones till you find "her"...the right one, the guitar you'll spend the rest of your life with. For some it's their first guitar, some find it within a few guitars, for others it may take decades but once you find it you'll realize the time spent was well worth it...

it`s not as easy as put above. It can feel right but be wrong in long term. Dont be fooled by ridicolus low action which will stop you from developing strength. If you put a lot of bending in your style, playing with tremelo will be an extra challenge, also Ac/dc solo style, bending and a second ringing string dont mix well with tremolo.

Indeed, you will know when you find it. Kind of like finding your one true love, if you believe in that stuff. Its hard to explain to someone who hasn't found it already, but when you do, you'll understand.

yeah, pretty much everybody else has said it.
Go to a guitar store, start playing guitars.
Don't automatically assume that the more expensive guitars are better and go to them first.
If you don't know how to play very much, just learn a three chord song and listen in for tone and how you feel when you play.
That's about it.
It's like the matrix and all that ****, you'll know when you find the one.
