I'm trying to learn the song Californication and so far all the parts have been really easy to learn except the chorus....

The chorus switches off between Am and F7m (unless the tab I'm looking at is wrong)

E---0---
B---1---
G---2---
D---3---
A---3---
E---1---

How do I play this/whats the best way...I'm trying to barre it but I can't keep the E from getting muffled?

thanks for the help

i wouldn't worry about muffling the E that much, it's all rhythm for the chorus anyways. work on the timing of the chords and you'll be ok, just play the chord

John Frusciante loves to use his thumb for barre chords, for future reference when playing RHCP See Under the Bridge.
