ok there is a song i like and wantto play but its playedw with a 7 string guitar. And as far as iknow there is only one standard tuning for this right? well what tuning would a 6 string guitar have to be in to play and sound like a seven string. thanx to whoever helps.

^What he said. And what song is it? Sometimes it's possible to play a song which is supposed to be in a dropped tuning in standard (but not all the time).
