All valve. Pretty cool for the price. It was nothing spectacular though. My mind didn't pop out of my head or anything. It had a bit more gain than I expected though.

I'd call it a "poor man's JCM800" if nothing else. It's not an 800, but it gets close especially considering the asking price.

yes cleans are not that good...but they do exist...also keep in mind you can get it much cheaper than the actual price...i got mine for 260 new

Well I don't know if it can do 'heavymetal' but it can do heavy metal just fine. It does it great with a boost. So long as you aren't playing modern stuff.
