Need to know what the chord progression for Continuum is, as heard on the Trio of Doom CD with John McLaughlin and Tony Williams.

So far, I have determined it is in the key of E Major, 4/4 time. I THINK the chord progression goes like this...

(all chords sound out for two bars)

E maj -> Edim7 -> E maj -> A7 -> E maj

Now what doesn't make sense to me is the Edim7. Shouldn't it be Ebdim7?

I haven't heard it, but a chord progression doesn't have to be completely in key, for instance the A7 there has a G natural.

A chord progression can go however the player wants, and it doesn't have to stay in key at all times; in jazz a progression completely in one key is fairly rare.
