thats literally exactly what i want dude. i love strats but im not crazy about their thin sound so if i could get something fatter in it, im thinking some active humbuckers that would be sweet.

i believe fender routes their strats hsh now. So you would just need a new pickgaurd to be in business.

I LOVE HSH's. With a coil tap, they are THE most versitile guitars ever. Plus you get no hum on almost every setting!

im not too sure about the new american standards but i know they did on the older american strats.
