Where on the fretboard would get the best sound for some good squealies? Just wonderin' because i've been experimenting with them lately.

I'm a fan of them on the G string on frets 7 and 9. I don't do them too often though.

+1 my first squealie was on the g string 7th fret.

For me it depends on the tuning and what genre I'm playing.

3rd fret G string is my favourite.

EDIT: I'm talking about dimebag squeals

Pinch harmonic wise, I love the 3rd fret A string and 7th A string.

like false harmonics? like Zakk Wylde? i hit them the clearest on the 3rd fret on the low E. Usually i use D tuning or Drop C and it always sounds real badass.

It's usually easier on the D,G and B strings at any fret over 7ish really.

IMO, you need to try alot of different spots. For instance, if i play a squealy on the 6th or 5th string, I do it right in front of the bridge pup, but on all the other strings i do it right behind the neck pup

Since you mean Dime squeals, then I should inform you that there are three harmonic nodes on the 3rd fret... Which one are you talking about?

Pinch harmonics..? :s any strings, any frets sounds the same to me...?
Natural harmonics, well wherever they occur: 5, 7, 12th etc...
Artificial harmonics = any frets + 5, 7, 12th etc...

I don't really get your question..

Yeah, 7th fret G string. That's the spot.

Beginning of Comfortably Numb solo #2... Right there, on the 7th fret. Oh yeah!

What's the point of having the same on your list twice with a different opinion next to each?

You can get squealies anywhere on the fretboard. In fact, holding just one note can produce an infinite amount of different tones. I like squealing entire chords. A is my favorite. You can check out my pinchies in my skills section in my profile.
