Pink Floyd.

can you narrow it down to a few songs?

Buckethead's album Colma or Electric Tears. They're both really good and relaxing. Otherwise, look at pretty much anything by Pink Floyd.

Nothing like some good ol' Deicide or Vital Remains to relax to.

Hmm... Pink Floyd definitely.

Especially the Dark Side of the Moon and Meddle.

Pink floyds first few really psychadelic albums

Anything by them. especially Comfortably Numb.

Yeah, they don't arrest/ticket hobos because they can't pay the fines. Then they hang out in the jail all day eating free food. There's no point.

Get a radio and listen to country. I hate country, but if I listen to it for 5 minutes or so, I calm down and just sit there and listen to it.

Try Portishead. They always seem to relax me, no matter what kind of mood I'm in.

Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, The Thin Ice, Fletcher Memorial Home, High Hopes, I could go on..

Radiohead? The Flaming Lips? Sonic Youth?

Oh, and I suggest you try some classical music such as The Planets by Gustav Holst or any of Beethoven's symphonies.
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer
where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.
